Historique :	La firme Hill, Nordmann & Beard s'était spécialisée dans la commercialisation des orgues de cinéma. Le cinéma Gaumont-Palace est détruit en 1971. L'orgue est cédé à Alain Villain puis vendu aux enchères en 1976 par la municipalité de Nogent-sur-Marne. Il est alors remonté par la société Gonzalez sur la galerie de ceinture du Pavillon Baltard. Il s'agit du dernier orgue de cinéma conservé en France. L'instrument est dépourvu de buffet proprement dit.
